Medical Concerns & Contraindications.
While Clarity Breathwork done correctly is considered 100% safe, breathwork can catalyze intense physical and emotional releases in the body. For safety purposes before registering, please reply to this email if you have any of the following conditions:
Asthma
Pregnancy
Eye Conditions:
Detached Retina
Glaucoma
Neurological Conditions:
Epilepsy
Prior diagnosis by a health professional of bipolar disorder or schizophrenia
Aneurysm - if either you or if two members in your immediate family have had one.
Strokes, seizures, TIAs, or other brain/neurological condition or disease
Hospitalization for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis during the past 10 years.
PTSD and experiencing strong symptoms, you are required to get your therapist’s approval to participate before you register
Bone Conditions:
Osteoporosis that is serious enough whereby moving around actively could cause potential issues.
Heart Conditions:
Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure
Cardiovascular disease and/or irregularities including prior heart attack
Use of prescription blood thinning medications such as Coumadin
If you have any medical, psychiatric, or physical conditions which would contraindicate participating in any activities that involve intense physical and/or emotional release, please consult a doctor prior to participating in a breathwork ceremony. You are encouraged to listen to your body and take the appropriate modifications. Please let me know if you are pregnant or have any medical conditions prior to the ceremony.
